First things first. I need you to know this: There are two Garrets.
Why? Because around thirty years our BC, calamity ensued. A world-engulfing war broke out. Almost all living humans were killed in action, crossfire, or nuclear destruction. It wasn't pretty. To put it simply, only those who were immortal are still with us today. There weren't even remains.
This handful of men and women can, and frequently do, testify that 'Ancient Garret' was "much like that boring world where the boring humans live, just a couple centuries ahead thanks to a surplus of resources."
In short, I will be divulging "Tales of Modern and Recent Garret" instead of "Tales of Ancient Garret" or even "Tales of Past, Present and Future Garret."
This is James Collette, signing off for now.
P.S. Modern Garret is roughly 2000 years after Ancient, so if you aren't into Post-Apocalyptic stories, rejoice.
